Former Minister of Resources & Developinent Fritz Koshiba passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Belau National Hospital.

Former Minister Fritz Koshiba served for many years as the Minister of Resources & Development, Advisor to President Remengesau, former Chairman of PPUC and one of the only two certified Palauan land  surveyors. He had served in  many other  capacities including being the Director of Bureau of Land and Survey for many years and was instrumental during his term as Minister of R&D for establishing the PALARIS Office. 

Former Minister Koshiba had been battling an illness and had been treated overseas He had been back home for sometime until his passing last Thursday. He is survived by his wife Martha Koshiba, his children and grandchildren.
